End.

So I've decided to stop blogging. A couple of artists have commented on their albums being posted here and its only a matter of time before one of them decides to take the next step and then I end up in a whole heap of shit.
I figure I'm not really getting much out of it so its not really worth the risk.

I had a fun couple of months and it was nice hearing comments from people. I had a ton of visits so I will always take a little pride in the fact that I helped some people fall in love with certain pieces of music.

This is getting silly.

Thanks.

P.S. I might start a blog in the future that specialises more in one area or genre. With rarer and older things. So be on the lookout.

Indeed, I agree, a thousand thanks for sharing your love of the music with us, it was enlightening and mind-expanding.

As for the (ahem) 'artists' in question, yes it is true that I didn't buy what you shared with me, no more that 'artist' likely paid for all the cassettes their friends had made for them back in thier pre-primadonna days, and as with those tapes, I probably would never have bought had you not shared because I wouldn't have known them from Adam (or Eve) and would pass them by for something else that I could hear. I suppose it goes without saying that I will share what you so kindly shared, spreading the sound-love to everyone who strays too close to my speakers.

btw, you may want to ponder a move into muxtape.com, removes the risk from you, but still preserves our basic human RIGHT to share our enthusiasm for the music we love.

Jesus anonymous, some albums are impossible to find! If it wasn't for this site I'd have never heard fuck buttons or even found out about blogspot, where I can find albums that I would previously scour ebay for over a year for, only to spend 100 bucks on what could be a load of crap. It's also saved me from hearing a track and buying the whole album only to decide I don't like it a day later, but at the same time it's encouraged me to (legitimately) find and support music that's really worth my time and effort. So in short, no, it's not fucked sharing a whole album. Thanks dr, whorerepresents, it's a shame to see you go.

"its all good to share a track or two, but posting someone's full album is a little fucked, don't you think?"

welcome to the 21st century
its what people do now.

and I don't really see it as fucked. I've been downloading full albums for years now and I still buy as much music as i ever did. I just listen to more.

thanks for the comments everybody.

They were good times. Thanks for introducing me to stuff I'd never find out about otherwise.

Thanks for all the rare stuff you've provided here.
And downloading don't prevent us from buying cds, it's the opposite.

As previously said, thank you for introducing me to a bunch of stuff I'd have never found/heard about otherwise. Superstar.
